In the book, the Richest Man in Babylon, the author suggested that we pay ourselves FIRST – 30% of one’s paycheck, and more if possible. 10% for charity, 10% for saving, 10% for investing. Investing is making money earn more money. It provides what we all desire – income for the future.
In the book, Rich Dad Poor Dad Series, the author suggested that we invest to get out of the “rat race”. We win the game of money when our passive cash flow from our investments is equal to or greater than our paychecks.
Investing is a big subject and cannot be easily summarize in a few words. There are basically 4 asset classes. Paper Asset: Stock & Bonds, Real Estate, Commodity, and Business. You can be successful in any asset class you choose to invest, depending on your knowledge and expertise.
I have chosen Real Estate investing and business development/investing as my vehicle to generate cash flow and hopefully asset appreciation. Rich Dad said you are an investor when you invest for cash flow, and you are a trader when you invest for capital gain. I invest mainly for cash flow because getting a steady stream of cash flow from many different sources makes me happy!
We will mainly introduce our community to Real Estate investing training and opportunity that provide solid cash flow. Real Estate investing can provide some or all of the following 5 types of income:
- Passive Income
- Interest Income
- Mortgage Income
- Capital Gain Income
- Phantom Income
We have partnered with Real Estate professionals across the country and internationally to train and to provide Real Estate investment opportunities to our community.
